THE FISHER TRANSPORTATION TEAM
Doug began his career with Fisher Transportation in May 1999. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a concentration in Marketing & Logistics, from Central Michigan University in 2000. He has over 20 years of experience working in trucking, materials, dock operations, and the logistics industries. Doug also enjoys volunteering for numerous groups within the local community.
PROJECT MANAGER/ ESTIMATOR
Jeff earned his Bachelors of Science in Crop and Soil Science from Michigan State University. He later began his career with the Fisher Companies in 1999, beginning at Bucks Run Golf Club. The golf course was created in what used to be a gravel mining operation for the Fisher Companies, and Jeff played a key role in the construction and opening of the golf course on the old mining property. Jeff began as Superintendent of Bucks Run in 1999, and was later promoted to General Manager in 2008. In 2015, his role was then expanded within the Fisher Organization through a promotion to Project Manager at Fisher Transportation. Jeff currently maintains important roles at both Bucks Run and Fisher Transportation, and enjoys the unique responsibilities of each.
DISPATCHER / ESTIMATOR
Kurt began his career with Fisher Transportation in August 1983, working as a Mechanic in the service garage. He was later promoted to a Truck Driver position, where he would drive tri-axles, trains, and short-doubles. During his time driving, he logged over 1,000,000 miles driving a variety of different styles of trucks. In 2008, Kurt was promoted to Dispatcher, where he successfully manages the scheduling of numerous trucks, jobs, and broker relationships.
DISPATCHER / ESTIMATOR
Corey started driving commercial trucks in 2006, and later became a Truck Driver for Fisher Transportation in April 2014. In August 2014, he was promoted to B-Train Dispatcher. Through his many years of driving and dispatch experience, Corey has successfully created and maintained numerous customer relationships.
Kelly began her career with Fisher Transportation in April 2007. She obtained her Associates Degree from Mid Michigan Community College in 2002, and has experience with administrative duties since 1999. At Fisher Transportation, Kelly is responsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and other miscellaneous duties which keep the company running smoothly. ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH & SAFETY DIRECTOR
Erick boasts decades of experience in industrial, residential, and commercial construction and safety practices. He is a graduate of the ABC Construction Academy, with Professional Development taking place at Northwood University, Leadership Midland, and the 1000 Leaders Session. As our Director of Environmental Health & Safety, Erick is responsible for providing the safest work environment possible for our employees. He has shown great success in this endeavor, which can be witnessed by our numerous company-wide safety awards and accolades.
